writing a biography

The famous person I've decided to write a biography about is Ariana Grande, hope you like it as much as I did writing it !!

Ariana Grande Butera was born on June 26th 1993 in Boca Ratón, Florida. Her father's name was Edward Butera and her mother's name was Joan Grande but they got divorced when he was just 8 years old and since then she has lived with her mother and her older brother Frankie. Most of people think that because of her last name she is from South America but actually, her family is Italian and she's very proud of it. She began her artistic career in 2008 when she appeared in the Broadway musical, 13. Later, in 2010 she had  a main role in the TV hit show 'Victorious' until it was cancelled in 2013, and due to her success, she had a main show in 2013 with her best friend, Jennette McCurdy, called 'Sam & Cat'.

  In 2013, she released her debut album 'Yours Truly' which debuted at the first spot on the Billboard 200 Chart and was critticaly acclaimed. This album made her became a teen pop star but her sophomore album titled 'My Everything' (2014)  was the one who made her became a global pop star with multiple top 10 hits and a second consecutive number one album at the Billboard 200 Chart. She also released a third and a fourth album called Dangerous Woman (2016) and Sweetener (2018). With her last album, she has recieved all the success she has been deserving this pasts years. During her musical career she has recieved a total of 6 Grammy's nominations and 70 awards won. Her fifth studio album is expected to be released before her world tour starts in March 18th, and only with two songs out it's already a global success. As I said before, her world tour will start in March and it's expected to be one of the most successful female tours of all time.

But not everything has been good for Ariana, specially during this past few years. In 2014, her grandpa who was her biggest supporter, died after a long battle with cancer. He was the reason why she titled her second album 'My Everything' and she did a little tribute to him during her 'Honeymoon Tour'. Seems like tragedy has been following Ariana unfortunately because on May 22th 2017, there was a terrorist attack during a show of her 'Dangerous Woman Tour' in Manchester, 22 people died and several were injured. After this, Ariana thought of cancelling her tour and never singing again but she said that she had to be strong and do it for her fans so a couple weeks later, she returned to Manchester for doing a televised benefit concert where she raised $23 million with the help from artists like Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus between others. Even tho she continued with her tour, she has suffered anxiety during the last year so she wasn't sure about doing a 2019 World Tour but she eventually decided to do it.

On May 2018, she started dating the snl comedian Pete Davidson, and they announced their engagement a couple weeks later, unfortunately, they broke up on October of the same year. On November 3rd, she made a surprise release and released the lead single for her fifth studio album which was very polemic because she talked about all her ex's and thanked them. On February 8th she will be releasing her fifth studio album called as her lead single, 'thank u, next' which already has two top #|1 Hits. She will also be headlining Coachella this year, a very important music festival.
